About Butterwick

Butterwick House Children’s Hospice provides loving care to life-limited children, aged from birth to 19-years, from across the North East, offering a very homely and friendly environment for both the children and their loved ones.

The Hospice is staffed by a brilliant team of professionals and volunteers who provide excellent standards for respite and end of life care, along with much-needed family support and bereavement services.

Our special care is provided free of charge, meaning we rely on the generosity of local people to help fund the services for children who need them so much.

We serve the communities of North Yorkshire, Teesside, County Durham and Wearside.

Butterwick House Children's Hospice has launched the Butterwick Apprentice. The idea is very simple - we give your team £50 to start you off and ask you how much you can raise for us?

The challenge for your team will then be on. Your £50 can be used in anyway you want provided it will give you a return on your investment. The £50 could be used to print posters or tickets, buy raffle prizes, and put a deposit down for room hire or anything else you think of. All the proceeds from the challenge will be donated to the Children's Hospice, allowing you to support the valuable work the Hospice does for children with short and precious lives.

Any business, school or other organisation may join the scheme and the size of the idea or project is up to you. You can do whatever you want with the money to get a return - so long as it's legal!

You can found out all the details you need to know on this website or by speaking to Damon Millar on 01642 628 930 or e-mail.

So what are you waiting for? Join this exciting initiative today and kick-start your challenge. Sign up now.
